Kediri Tour

Day 01 – L/D

Upon at Juanda airport, welcome and meeting service by a guide for brief explanation of the Kediri Volcano Tour . Direct transfer to Kediri and lunch on the way.

 

Kediri Surroundings

The first tourist site to visit is an old church Puh Sarang, believed to have been where Mother Mary came downto earth. The building is of natural stones, see the statue of Mother Mary in the recessess of the cave.

Many visitors do ritual activities here.

Next visit Selomangleng Cave, the hermitage cave of King Erlangga’s Princess name Dewi Kilisuci.

Then visit Simpang Lima Gumul, a five junction gate building reflected from the Arc de Triomphe of Paris known as the regency icon of Kediri.

Day 02 – B/L/D

Volcano Trip

In the morning depart  Mount Kelud, it is where the new 300 m high lava dome from the middle of the crater emerged. The process took 4 months. It is such an extraordinary natural phenomenon.

The conical structure with vertical relief of andesite cliffs adds beauty to the Kelud’s geol uniqueness.

Find a lava tunnel dated to the Dutch colonial time. Waterfall and sulphur hot flow from the mountain  ideal for a spa bath.

Discover a magic road on the slope of Kelud. Gravity causes the car in off engine condition to go up.
